As a child growing up in Bangkok, Ping often created her own toys and playthings. Hand-drawn paper dolls would be placed sitting on the edge of the tv, table and cupboards. She painted creatures on her bedroom walls and also used her closet doors as a canvas. She started her love for drawing from watching Saturday morning cartoons and reading mangas. A self-taught artist, Ping likes to work with water color and acrylic. Her favorite subjects are animals and children. Ping is a freelance illustrator. She currently lives in Takoma Park, Maryland.
